Add Smart Density
Support motions that remove unnecessary barriers to adding density for existing properties that meet the right criteria.
Plan with Purpose
Align decisions with the Envision St. John’s Municipal Plan, Development Regulations, and the City’s Strategic Directions.
Listen & Consult
Ensure development projects include meaningful public consultation so outcomes reflect our shared values and needs.
Support Well‑Being
Advocate for increased mental health and addiction services in partnership with the Provincial and Federal governments.

John Barbour is a community‑minded advocate for a more connected, people‑first St. John’s. He believes in building complete neighbourhoods where everyday needs are within reach by foot, transit, bike, or car and where our shared spaces bring us together.
His focus is pragmatic: use the tools we already have, plan with consistency, and invite residents into the process so we deliver the housing, streets, and services our city deserves.
